EMQG Quilt Con Two Colour Challenge

In the spirit of the mothership - QuiltCon 2027 Challenges of the Windham Fabrics, and American Patchwork & Quilting Pick-A-Color challenge, we have come up with our own. We used a random color selector tool and have chosen Apple Green and Soft Orange as our 2 color quilt challenge. We have 2 paint chips to visualize these these colors. They are Behr Paint chips: Spring Grass (P350-4) GP2-2 and Cheese Puff (P240-5) OP7-3. We will have a few of these for you at the September meeting, they are available at Home Depot or any other paint supplier that sells Behr Paints.
Quilters may choose fabrics that read Apple Green and Soft Orange, we will allow colors that are lighter and darker than the 2 colors, however they must read as a single hue of apple green or soft orange. We will also allow the options of adding Black and white, or Cream and Grey, or Grey and White, and Black and cream. No combined colour prints, the fabric must read single hue.
Quilters may use whatever fabric color they want on the back. Minimum size is 24” square, to a maximum perimeter of 280”. Bring your completed quilt to the June meeting – There will be prizes!
