My stash finally offered up the poppy scrap I knew was in there somewhere! Shalene took pity on my fear of piecing tiny letters & sent me a Christmas gift, all shiny and bright. I unearthed tiny short bugle beads out of my button drawer to hold the letters in place when I stitched them on (after a dab of glue first of course!). The result pleases me & for sure is easy to decipher!!
